As the sun approaches the end of its journey for today, the sun-worshippers pack up, vacate the deck chairs and fold up the umbrellas.
A gift of light that was too beautiful not to capture! What a view to wake up to this morning, it was enough to drag me out of months of dormancy and want to capture and upload this view.
The serene hinterlands laying beyond the reaches of an urban sprawl, city kids throng the place when the paddy ripens and stand right next to the plants for a photo of themselves next to their food source, all quickly tagged and ‘grammed with easy wireless Internet connectivity.
A strikingly-red fishing boat unloading the catch-of-the-day off to an elevated pier built over the mangrove swamp, near the fishing village of Bagan Tengkorak (“Skull”), not far from Kuala Selangor. There are restaurants nearby which serve excellent seafood meals.
